social phobia Social phobia can sometimes present itself in a fear of moving into spaces where there are many people present. Other times social anxiety can be felt as an overwhelming sense of dread and fear that other people are watching you and making judgments or negative assumptions about you.

Real or imagined, it can begin to affect your life negatively, physically and emotionally.

The symptoms of social phobia can be:

  • Embarrassment, blushing, self-conscious feelings
  • Shaky hands, legs, body, or voice
  • Feeling of tightness in the throat, Nausea
